For the bowels of the beast, see the previous review (I do not want to make repetition).

I would say that THE Yamaha error, it has been to propose two low-quality speakers stuck OF EITHER SIDE of the keyboard. The result: a phenomenal overall width, we would have liked offset by a high-quality audio .... Well Kay-chee! The audio quality of speakers is inboard of its kind to reproduce sound without metallic or low medium low, and it is a pity! I would have liked less and 20 cms width for sound quality so poor that would be output from another location on the keyboard.

7 / 10 for this point.

UTILIZATION

I wanted good sound real piano, acoustic and electr (on) ic, because I came from the world of the organ (and what a world! A Viscount in 1983! More kitsch and rough you die !!!). Suffice to say that the quality of touch mattered little. And yet, in the store, when I compared this NP 30 kicked me well. Indeed, he did not touch cartoonish style synth and / or light / heavy, no, but a touch that I would call evolutionary. And for good reason, the keys provide resistance inversely proportional to their height: the bass notes are harder to push the treble. It's very silly, but psychologically it is damn effective! (Of course, classical pianists will say it's crap ... They just do not have the same value scale).

The manual deserves interested, because this keyboard is a real MIDI Through of 76 notes, and it's worth it to understand the intricacies of its possibilities, both in stand-alone master keyboard. The manual is pretty screwed up, overall.

The configuration key combination is not as ergonomic as possible! Your servant has solved the problem put to him personally this keyboard, issuing a trick you can get by clicking above on the icon "TIPS". So far, I've had no feedback as to whether anyone has found an interest in this tip, but hey, I did it for me, and I just published ... take in what you want!

8 / 10, because the NP is, as the English say, "very versatile" (which in Fançais is a false friend who means exactly the opposite of the british version).

OVERALL OPINION

The sounds are quite good, but not many. So we quickly did the trick. I stay away from harpsicords harpsichords and marble that leave me (then my music could play in the mainstream if they were not so indigestible), others have their own personality. Songs available in following my signature, all the keyboard parts, Mellotron out (why, I GForce) are made with NP-30, since I have not - yet - on the other piano in my HS .

The piano is a grand piano in stereo, piano 2 a kind of upright piano mono ... Good, with a processur effect to meet the sauce, I think it makes perfect illusion. For the ultimate touch, in my opinion, is the treatment we give to the sounds provided by the NP30, and there is no secret: they were rotten, an effects processor (TC M350 in for me) would only rot embellished. There is not the case, so we expect that the basic sounds are pretty fair and faithful.
