Epiphone Sheraton II LH

The Sheraton II was made in Japan. It features 22 frets, dual humbuckers and a fixed bridge. It has a 3 way pick up toggle switch and two sets of volume/tone knobs. The neck is made of maple and is super fast.

UTILIZATION

I love the neck on the Sheraton II. It has incredible action, whether you are going to rock out to some metal or sit back and play some chords the great action makes playing anything so much easier

SOUNDS

I play soft mellow music, and the Sheraton suites me very well. Without even plugging the guitar in you get a great tone, hell, half the time I don’t even plug in. Once you do though, the beauty just continues. With the treble pickup on, you can get great rock and blues tones, flip the pickup selector to rhythm and you can almost see the jazziness oozing out of the guitar, place the selector in the middle, and with the right amp settings, you can mistake the Sheraton II for an acoustic. I love how big the Sheraton is because if you are like me, and are used to playing acoustics, the switch to the Sheraton is effortless. I love this guitar so much, the only real downfall I could fine is it is a little bit heavy, which doesn’t really bother me, but if you are playing a long gig, your shoulder is defiantly going to feel it in the morning. All and all the Sheraton II is a great guitar for any purpose, and with a retail price for about $700 you can’t go wrong, do yourself a favor and buy this guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

I have used the Sheraton II for about a year. I tried many guitars before purchasing this one, i just found the Sheraton II to be perfect for me. I love this guitar so much, the only real downfall I could fine is it is a little bit heavy, which doesn’t really bother me, but if you are playing a long gig, your shoulder is defiantly going to feel it in the morning. All and all the Sheraton II is a great guitar for any purpose, and with a retail price for about $700 you can’t go wrong, do yourself a favor and buy this guitar.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very comfortable to play, fast, easy access to acute. In time this guitar aged well and I always use it with pleasure.

Lutherie very good for Epiphone.

SOUNDS

The original sound is good, or the evaluation of 8. But I opted for two microphones directly S. Duncan (SH2 and SH4).
All suits me perfectly clear to his right but also to pass on a rock with its very configuration of the microphone. With this change it is perfect for what I wanted: 10/10

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 13 years now and this is the only guitar that I had at that time that I kept. I do not count myself separated from elsewhere.
If it again I would have even bought it sooner!

I think the pickguard (TurtleSkin) trs ugly, and I RALIS a plexi.

As against the mcaniques are excellent and help keep good notes without having to connect all the time.

The handle is enjoyable, it has its particularity as any style of scratching, that's all.

Yes, the guitar is not too heavy for a semi acoustic, and many ather quilibrbr />

SOUNDS

Yes everything. I play in a sixties style music with little distortion and it works flawlessly.

- With what (s) amplifier (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I play it with a transistor amp, but through the amp simulation lamps.

I think it's a really versatile guitar, but has a weakness: its microphones. I have two children age basis, so when I play, it is often unplugged and it's perfect. Nanmoins, ds I want to record using the microphone, my taste is very average. I think the sound is not prcis at all, it is even a cavernous epu. I have personally bought a guitar RG550 15 years ago and in the end, it is this that I use to record dernire although I prfre sound unplugged my piphone

I also think the guitar is not connecting the mass which generates a buzz, ds that we do not raise the Doix on the bridge or strings.

I intend to change its pickups with "The Legend" of wolftones
