Payed $420 at musiciansfriend.com

I got this guitar because i needed an electric, since i had been borrowing friends' electric guitars for a year, while learning on an acoustic. I wanted a good electric guitar, for an intermediate playing level.

This guitar is fantastic! if youre having second thoughts about buying it, DONT! youll be so happy that you bought it. I got the ebony colored one because i saw the heritage sunburst one at a store, and it was just too bright. The guitar is built extremely well, the wood on the neck is perfect for sliding and everything, and just feels good on the fingers. the action is perfect, the strings are at the perfect height from the fretboard, and the tuning machine is cool, like an acoustic's with 3 tuners on each side. The two pickups are perfect for everything from light fingerpicking with no distortion, to a hard rock sound, and its got a volume and tone control for each pickup (for a total of 4 controls, each one clear, so it looks black, with white numbers on it,which looks veryg ood.). All the hardware and pickups are chrome, so it looks very nice on the black, and its also got the 3 way switch, for rhythm, inbetween, and treble. The guitar is surprinsignly light, making it easy to play, it also seems a little shorter, so its easier to play scales and things on it. Its amazing what a wide range of sounds this thing can produce.

i pretty much love this guitar, but if i HAD to chagne something about it, it'd be the tuning pegs, which are like creamy dark green, they look kinda glow in the dark or somtehing.
and some of the very high frets are harder to hold down, since theye're a little shorter than on other guitars ive played due to the shorter neck.
but that cant be compared with the advantages of this guitar, overall its incredible for its price.

like i said, the construction is great. on other users' reviews i heard that suposedly the 3 way switch gets broken fast, and the input jack is weird, but ive had it for a month and so far everything is perfect, better than i expected. its built very well.

this really is the perfect guitar if youre looking for an intermediate/high level guitar that can deliver a wide range of sounds, is easy to handle and hold, looks cool, and feels good.
