-2 Volumes 2 tones
Set Mahogany neck, 3 parts / rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and inlays binding 'Flag', X-Jumbo frets.
UTILIZATION
Channel trs enjoyable, it glides well and is quite the end for Paul. It seems thinner than my PRS SE Singlecut, but has no problem as long as there is no hand of b ^ Cheron. As for the button, it takes a little time to acoutumance to jumbo frets.
-Access to acute and trs honorable, at the same time I'm not an expert solos. So I have not seen the problem of ct but it is clear that access to is not as sharp as a strat ais and stay in esp, a M II Kirk Hammett signature or with neck-through would be much better for aficionados of solo.
-For ergonomics, c is a les paul, we like it or not. There is a notch abdominal well come. As for the weight, lgret is surprising. I had a ltd kh 602, and although this is an "in" silent esp it much heavier. Now it's up to play a huge advantage but it's a little frustrating because for a guitar of this quality we tend to want to have a log in the hands ... I put 9 because perfection does not exist
SOUNDS
-For metal, be it trash, and other neo Hard rock, no problem this guitar is made for a. Nanmoins is not to say that you can not do anything with, will always sound a rather cold and sharp, but with an amp that follows derrire there is no reason you not be able to jazz or funk with ... even if again it is not his area of prdilection. (fortunately in a sense, otherwise I will not use my fender)
-I play most often with a vox ad 30 amp modeling, which offers a wide range of sounds between the SETTING THE amp and those of the guitar there's plenty to do. And recently I use a Mesa / Boogie F30 ... and the attention that either clear or distortion is halucinant. Like what we must not forget that the amp is the largest part of its job of Contents.
Premire-vocation of this guitar to bring me a silent trs trs its rich saturation, fawn black album, which does not rotate the boil ... it fulfills its purpose perfectly. In his clear, has not the charm of a fender but still trs trs good.
OVERALL OPINION
I love everything about this guitar. This is the kind of instrument that makes you want to play alone when you look at it. I have in addition a MIJ Fender Stratocaster 59 reissue 1994 and a PRS SE Singlecut, and ESP eclipse without the problem (the vrit I was aiming not just the whole rotten pun). .. Except for the fender clean sound with wins.
Before I acquire the eye on a gibson les paul standard, but the sound goes with the inimitable gibson gibson inimitable price ... The price range of this eclipse is in the range of les paul studio that does absolutely not the road against the Japanese competition. After eclipse vs les paul standard, is a matter of taste. But for 1400 euros new, I have chosen esp. Exprience with (and the same budget) I do it again this choice.
