Made in the USA, almost classical GIBSON:

Channel a little beam rosewood 22 frets (not easy sweeps of the second octave of the handle ...)

P90 neck pickup and bridge pickup Burstbucker 3 zebra (no cache ...), 2 volume 1 tone wooden buttons. Micro switch positions 3 and Killswitch.

Easel set Tunomatic and stopbar tailpiece, Grover all black hardware.

Body and mahogany neck, carved maple top table with room resonances (chambered body)

She is beautiful and well painted!

Everything (almost) been said if it is no more than a few different sets sow confusion (absence or presence of trussrod cache problem or not the killswitch etc.) ...

It may be that the killswitch is wired incorrectly original! See the trick Royuth about this but I 'go back.

By against good overall finish.

UTILIZATION

The whole is well-balanced, weight is much lighter than the Les Paul (I know) with the chambered body, moreover it gives the guitar a beautiful acoustic resonance!

To handle the bin that is typical Gibson again, rather thick, acute access not easy ... One needs to get used to a little grip n 'is not great but it s' is also there. It is pleasant.

No problem keeping the tuning for mine.

We quickly found a good sound!

SOUNDS

It is a unique combination that P90 and BurstBucker choice. It is what 'm really interested and I must say that I have been served!

The P90 is great for clean sounds (and all kinds of effects)! For more severe or crunches distos it's worse, almost more joints and the sound is "mat".

The BurstBucker is really intended to overdrive and distos. A nice grain, enough "edge" with a big fishing.

J really like these pickups and their combination is also great! The buttons work well and offer a wide range of sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

For the record I have bought at the store where I worked at the time and it's I who have received out of the box (I confirm moreover critical to the factory settings ...) . It was just as GIBSON the sent ...

I'm long past for a madman to explain that there was a problem with this guitar, a strange electrical hum from that you do not touch the guitar ...

Since Royuth thank you for the tip!

Yes because the killswitch was wired wrong. But the guitar was apparently inspected (the checklist in the case was validated ...).

It is absolutely unacceptable for me! They are the fart GIBSON USA, haha! Like what quality the serious application work vaunted ...

I 'm still was able to accept this problem, first because I don' t seem to find the problem and then with a good noisegate I 'm going out as well as possible, while the entire planet slanderous do not able to make it sound completely!

Since then, I have reversed the red and white cables from the selector magic killswitch and more noise. I recommend to all those who have problems with noise that they s' not explain that despite the fact that they played with MonsterCable jacks (and know a little about the instrument cables and connectors) have acquired a new who spent hours testing with other amps in different places with other electric jacks etc. ...!

Yes, I have resented this story ... lol

I want to clarify that I do not take my case to a general and I do not want to denigrate a brand, model or anything else, but it seemed important to say that I have lived.

Apparently many other users of this model or brand that have been and are still very satisfied with their instruments.

It is today the only case I can leave the ring and get the max.

My conclusion:

It's been a while since I have and this is clearly the most versatile of my guitars. I made the handle, I have rewired the killswitch and I 'really love to play it, it sounds to hell, is convenient to carry, light!
