Gibson American, of course with easel "tune-o-matic" tailpiece and "Stop bar"
I tried a "Stetbar" vibrato but he did not agree, then return the gizmo to the dealer.

22 frets with technology "Plek" who wants to handle better calibrated and paste special for more performance. Channel or 50's or 60's but asymmetric, which dusting the shape of the hand, ie d, larger and finer inch side to the opposite side.

standard buttons: 2 volumes and 2 tones.

A 3-position selector.

UTILIZATION

Handle great and if it is coupled with good microphones, you can go "shredding", and yes, on one LP!

Access to the treble is a bit difficult. It's not a Strat. But you get used to being limited except if one wants to play the Satch: complicated acute attacks and no vibrato. But who cares ........ because if we choose a LP is to have an LP, does not it?

SOUNDS

It depends on his side pickups you put into it.
The original Pro Burstbuckers are not my cup of tea. I have turned and I installed the Gibson "The Original" HB-R and HB-L.

I love them and for me the true sound of an LP is not at all "Bare Knuckles - The Mule" as we say here and I installed it and then fired. The true sound of a good Les Paul are undoubtedly the Gibson "The Original" HB-R and HB-L. They were created by Bill Lawrence Gibby and end of 80's to late 90's. BL after split from Gibson.

The light is great: I play the "Stray Cats" with one of my groups, with a delay rockabilly genre. In crunch and distortion I play rock and 70's is the bomb, killing one, and i like ..... voila!

OVERALL OPINION

I have the past year and a half.

I had at least 25 guitars since I was 15, starting with a TV Rican (I'm missing bcp) via the "Gretsch Nashville, Tennessee Rose, Country Gentleman" and ending with many other good and bad .

Well my favorite is by far the LP. The telecaster too, if I could buy ... but the other Mexican and you keep them, I'm a purist!
(Yeah, I know, the Mex are as good as riaines, blah, blah blah, it's in my head all that, blah, blah .... I say keep them I want it!)

As for the price of LP, it's still expensive despite years and years where the model has not changed despite the bcp so-called technical changes.
It is better to buy a secondhand at 1300 €. I would have done it, and I tried, but the 3 or 4 dealers that I contacted were not too accommodating chelous and then I got it new ...
