Fixed bridge type Les Paul in 2 parts

UTILIZATION
I had a standard Roxanne in 1998 (new). It cost 5900 francs at the time, then compare what is comparable. At the level of play and sound, I see no difference, everything is good. I will say later: Differences in the mail (or worse) and the varnish, which was thicker, more beautiful and solid. It seems to me that the body was a bit thicker (it made him look more "serious", there's been a bit light) the guitar was a little heavier. It is now too small and unbalanced toward the handle. The game is not comfortable sitting, masi I think the Les Paul either.
SOUNDS
For sound, nothing to say, excellent sustain. We must keep Elixir above, the sound is incomparable. Both pickups individually in split or double, it's happiness. For the mix ... is reviewed.
The electronics are a bit light, but considering the price we can forgive. The pots look a bit into the void, offering no resistance, it does not want to use it, dailleurs we do not use it! I called the factory, because I do not understand the usefulness of the central position of the selector of microphones, or its operation that seemed faulty. And not at all and it is expected: it needs to be addressed (the screwdriver) the height of the 2 microphones, so that the 2 volume pots thoroughly, has a mix acceptable to the ear. Then do not try to fix anything in a central position for different mixes. It's a shame, illogical, no. It seems to me that my previous standard Bédarieux Roxane, is refined by adjusting the mix on the pots. Now, if one of two pots is zero, no sound ... even if the other is substance. I do not understand this choice. Furthermore, it limits the possibilities of setting up the microphones individually. For my part, having groped, I arrived at a position following this, power plant, which is useless: it is equal to the neck pickup alone. OVERALL OPINION
I've had almost a year. I eun many guitars before, in the same price range. My favorite remains the standard Roxane Bédarieux that I foolishly sold it because it sounded somewhat, so that my amps were involved ... A very good buy despite the origin China. A remake, I would save a version for France.
