Everything has been said about the characteristics of this beautiful guitar .. Nothing to say, the finishes are beautiful ..
I simply said that these are not two Emg81 Emg81 Emg60 and wrote as one of the people before me ..

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, a little in the spirit Gibson Les Paul which is convenient for large hands that I have .. For cons, it may be just for little hands that need to be a consultant handle finer for me .. is perfect!
As I have big hands, big hands I also have no problem in access to acute ...
I love especially the mechanical Spertzel that allow a change of chord in 2 minutes flat ...
The guitar is fairly light, certainly much lighter than his cousin Gibson Les Paul .. No imbalance is to see, you can really hold it as you want ..
For sound, well Emg81 fulfill the mission entrusted to them! Namely we get easily a good big distortion but very precise at the same time ..

SOUNDS

I play in a metal band so it is quite suitable to my style of music in the sense that it was made for it .. I still noticed a good versatility in other genres like Rock more calm and even some blues to Gary Moore ..
In addition, it not only to balance the big sound, it is perfectly mastered ..
I was afraid that the Emg81 in the neck position is a brake for the heat of the lead solo .. but not at all A little research, we find his happiness soon ..
I play on a Marshall solid state but I begins with a tube preamp to home Hughes & Kettner .. For effects, I use a boss who is very comprehensive Gt6 ..

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a year now and it's really one of the best guitars on which I played .. I found my happiness in both the aesthetical and in the sound when you ask for!
I tried a lot of model before I decide, Jackson noted some, Lag, Ibanez, Washburn and I had to choose between the final ESP LTD EC-1000 and Kirk Hammet signature .. It has the same form and I also liked the black color and quality of the coating on the Kirk .. Finally, I decided on the Ec-1000 because it does not have Floyd be more practical for me after brought from time to time to give in Drop-D ..
I would do it again because this choice is an exellent price / quality ratio
