No floyd, me following anti floyd it suits me perfectly! Something to note, the reference is to the edge of the handle in the middle of the handle not unlike other guitars, that personally I have no problem! I put a 9 / 10 because perfection does not exist (or so takes in € 4,000 guitar), but I really can not fault!

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, I got used to it after a few minutes! Access to the last cargo is really nice, for against the boxes 23 and 24 are hard to reach! But I use them once or twice a solo, its going very well! It takes time to adapt to the malmsteen solos! The finish is superb, which form the paul ... and more black satin ... I let you imagine how it throws! Weight level, some bad language will tell you that it's a bit heavy, but I did not complain. I never had a problem at this level, and yet it happens to do four hours of rehearsals.

To get a good sound, it's simple ... must plug into an amp and need to ensure good behind! Personal I have a 112 bandit who holds the road really well (although it is not a good lamp)! I put 9 / 10 because of the boxes 23 and 24! But it's sinn nickel.

EDIT OF THE 27/07/07

After several months of intensive use, I find that the handle is really a highway. For the last boxes I used to, and now it asks me really more of a problem. Now when I play Les Paul, Start, and another thing I find lacking in a lot of guitars, I have become since I require my EC! lol

SOUNDS

Personally I play blues, metal, rock n roll and other machines. I tested this many aprem repeating with my big bandit 112 and honestly it provides in all areas (even if it is typed "metal"). The micro emg 81 is there for the right distos, emg 60 and the microphone is present for sounds pretty clear. Of course this n'atteind not the level of rock guitars like Stratocasters, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised to hear as it provided in the various musical styles. Metallica playing with, believe me it's the foot!

I put a 10/10 as to price (690 € on the site jerichomusic) well worth the money!

EDIT OF THE 27/07/07

I put a 9 / 10, even if the sound is excellent in everything disto I think it sounds too clean sound. His is the road but nothing more. on the other hand I put my pickup selector position Acute, harmonics come from all sides and I love the sound.

OVERALL OPINION

For a few days I have, but I could make a good opinion dessu through rehearsals that were a sort of test bed for my little ec ... I really like the les paul version look "metal". Sinn models I tried before, and it had not had the same effect ...
The value for money is great, and obviously I would do this choice ...

I put a nice 9 / 10 because it n'atteind (for sure) not perfection, but for that price it is a wonder! I really take my foot!

PS: Feel free to send me a message with any questions related to the EC-500! ;)

EDIT OF THE 27/07/07
