Losing audio output from pc

I recently bought the 2x2M and it was working fine until yesterday and I lost audio to my headphones from it. I have to unistall the device under device manager, restart the computer and then plug it back in. Killing my work flow and I can't find anything anywhere about it. I don't know if it matters but it quit working one time when I turned the headphone volume on the device. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do I'll be veryappreciative.
