Needing a midi interface for (relatively) little CHRE for one instrument (drums yamaha dtxIII special), I orient my choice to midisport.
config: dtxIII, protools 7.1.1LE with mbox1 on macbook core 2GHz 2GB 2duo.
UTILIZATION
The driver is already installed on Mac OS Tiger, so no need the installation CD.
OVERALL OPINION
I think for someone who has an instrument, or even use MIDI CONTROLLER is the perfect interface, the use is very simple and there is no need forcment notice, provided that the mixing software derrire follow, the price is respectable for what it is (I bought about 30 euros). With exprience, if I still need only one instrument at the same time, I think I would do this choice, but any fawn, in such MODEL (from srieux a manufacturer), while the product looks like, only then a matter of price.
