I use this pedal twelve o'clock since 2005. He served in the studio and on stage, and at home.

What is so special that you love the most, least?

Pros: versatility, robustness, efficiency.

The -: weight (normal to the metal box, but plastic pedals), programming (which requires an adjustment period), all too brief manual (programming).

No, I had found this product with such a quality / price ratio and many pedals!

Certainly. The only factor that would change the pedals for another, it would be my own budget (and target prices to me are currently disabled).

I been using it for 4 years and although I have procured for a year and a half.
I've used other pedals controllers: one might say a controller is a controller ever ... but this one I was initially attracted by its price well below the quasi-similar to roland ( for a similar result after all, for what little I've used the Roland).
Then the other pedals do not usually have as many or two pedals volume / expression.
After all depends on how it is used: some players will make a pedal that controls the effects, others will do a set of commands to use eg Live or other software. I am part of the second tranche since I only use it to control Live and real and virtual instruments that I use with. Basically, I assign my pedals to certain software functions (usually the "selection" tracks and "registration") and then I play live using my feet to launch sounds, stop, record or my guitar synthesizer to read then just recorded these sounds, etc..
The price / quality ratio is unbeatable today. All the "big brands" offering such a machine have higher rates (about double or more! ...). I think that € 160/200 was a bit expensive since they are only controllers but now we are nine to 120 €. It is important to note that the Behringer-which is still cheap - does not always offer the quality stuff (I know this brand because of limited financial resources of my projects: tables mixes do not last very long The effects are often of poor quality, the instruments amps dishes ...) But I have a particular sound (800W amp and speaker 1400W) that sounds of thunder and turbine 7 years without worry. This brand comes more often to deliver products that are affordable while maintaining a level of quality and reliable strength: this pedal is one of those products, solid, effective not too expensive.
Most: ease of getting started in midi with different software (I assume that with effect racks is at least as easy). Robustness of the cash machine that blows without flinching the metal shell is unbreakable and buttons are solid. And a point which is positive and both negative: it is quite large, which makes its use easier in concert because we not press two buttons by mistake, but it's enough to carry large and heavy ...
Cons: bah ... a USB port would have been quite handy in certain circumstances to feed the beast and connect to a computer interface ... without at the same time, it's better to be able to connect to mains power and keep the computer for apps. The most negative for me is the fact reassign each button: for use with live example, I had to delete and reassign each button one by one. Not only the operation is very long, but the user manual is quite complicated to find and the operation is not simple.
With the experience I would do this choice, but some years before to master it better!

Use / Handling:

Programming the presets a bit long and tiring to enter numbers using the pedals, it would be a matrix AIM and manual controls in order to make easier its presets. In addition the programming of presets is not easy to take at the beginning.
The manual does not help on this, a ride on the forums and explanations can help (thank you TonioDOD ).
The operating mode presets involves scratching their heads for their organizations and sometimes ncssite few compromises.

Despite some programing Drout, namoins The FCB1010 is a very good product. I use it with the v-bass of the same brand, and these two products work together without any problems. This application pdalier just a little thought, some connaissainces MIDI, and a little practice (Just A Day)

Purchased a month ago, I took the pedal to send program change MIDI instruments to four.

Unlike some, I find it very easy to use: you enter programming mode, it activates a pedal, we choose the control number, its value is all. To set one of my sets (4 prog change, a bank select), it takes less than a minute! Note that although it is possible to send a message via bank select both controls assignable patch, this control message is sent after the program changes, which may force them to call twice to access the patch good sound. An update is available on the Behringer website can still send the program change after 5 of the pedal controller 1.

In addition, for use as mine, I would have appreciated being able to send as many messages as bank select program change, to avoid having to consolidate all the sounds I need in one bank of each user synth .

The build quality is impeccable. As mentioned before, this pedal is heavy, sturdy and seems very reliable.

The two pedal modulation respond well, but I think their run a little short.

I put my 8 / 10 for the problem of bank select, but since the problem can be circumvented easily (in my case because one of my keyboard requires a similar message), I do not regret this purchase at all. This is a real plus for using live, and even in repetition, a little advanced MIDI configurations.

I bought this crankset for a few months to replace the digitech control one of 2112 that made the soul.
In the first case we have seen a fairly complete pedalier robust but somewhat imposing.
When programming, I galr because of my debut into the world of MIDI and a leaflet unclear.
While it is very simple, setting the pedals and the receiver (preamp in my case) the same MIDI channel, the switches will work.
Need to be addressed after the prog advance as expression pedals but with a little research, you get there.
After the operation, the latency is short enough switches work well, but the expression pedals are a bit of precision because of their race a little short (1 / 4 of the race does not matter)
The ratio quality price is more than adequate for its competitors costs almost double.
In short, if you want a foot controller to control presets and an expression pedal for volume or other who does not deserve a lot of precision, go for it.

EDIT 2010:
APRS 3 years of use (repeat concerts), the pdalier does not flinch.
For the use I make of (control of preamp presets and some CONTRL volume effect and expression) is more than enough.
Only LGERS default: lightweight power supply hum of the transformer, and imprecise expression pedal.
I ride in note 8 RAPORT quality for price.

I have for years and this pedal has never betrayed. Yet the brand's reputation of making low cost ... If we make the effiort to read the manual (in French), the unit easily handles ...

I used it initially with a preamp and a SansAmp PSA1 F Force. I could change the preset on both devices and control certain parameters of the G Force.
Then I switched to the Axis Fx Ultra, again the FCB 1010 is proving very useful. Of course, it does not fly all that provides for the axle (steering looper for example), but I can already:

- Change preset (the minimum what)
- Me use the expression pedal to manage a volume rhythm / lead (Midi volume of 100 to 127).
- Drive anything and everything with the expression 2 (whawha, etc.)
- Trigger ON / OFF block effect with expression 2.

Some gaps (with the original chip, I never tested the UNO): Can not swing a bank change CC and then a program change. The pedal sends the first left and after the CC, which is stupid to change the preset to 45 of the bank, for example 2. Well, simply put all the presets used in bank 0

In summary, considering the price, this pedal makes great services. If you are more picky, it will go elsewhere and ... more expensive ...

I use this pedalboard qq months since I've acquired to drive a Digidesign 11R. I do not ais branch immediately before because I had to familiarize myself with the 11R. I have not tried other models because the ETFs offered the features necessary for what I wanted.

The 10 stomps and the 2 expression pedals answers has everything a guitarist wants to find his feet, LEDs provide good visibility of presets assets

I had to change its EPROM because I am a ball lineup, so I purchased a brand 11prom EUREKASOUND for $ 30 and everything was instantly program for the 11R. 3 modes, effects (management Stompboxes way), favorit presets and preset to navigate menus 11R.

The change of EPROM allowed me to open the FCB and to see the internal quality, respecting the old adage "less there are, the better." the exterior looks very robust and playing stomps on tap is pretty nice.

Therefore a good choice, although I realize that I pay a bit expensive, with 11prom pedalboard is a formidable and now irreplaceable.

I use for almost 3 years this controller, I have chosen because it is very comprehensive and a friend sold it to me used to a good price. I use it as a MIDI controller for my computer to control the software LIVE while playing the guitar. I had to look pretty on the web to find the set (including sending control change rather than Program Change). But since I have configured, it's a real pleasure. I used a lot of time on stage without any worries. Very efficient and pleasant to use, I just worry for its robustness (even if no signs of weaknesses, past experiences with Behringer products showed me that it was the great weakness of the mark.
This is not the controller of my dreams but it perfectly fulfilled its mission for a price well below the competition.
I highly recommend it to musicians who, like me, do not make intensive use hyper and do not want to ruin.
