«  tempting ... But temperamental! »

Value For Money : Correct
This is a hybrid machine that is both a MIDI pedal, a tube preamp and audio interface 24bit 96kHz. On paper, the dream for me, which I'm tinkering with my hair in its Linux, which has long sought a controller effectively and fairly mobile.

I've had a few weeks. This is the only model to my knowledge, in this price range that does it all, so no points of comparison.

The direct sound (without the computer) is nice and warm, the lamp warms the guitar. The preamp part is convincing to me. There must be a way to change the lamp eventually for Electro Harmonics (for example).

MIDI part works perfectly under Linux and Windows. The switches are sturdy, respond well. Optical pedal is very accurate. The pedal switch 1/2 pedal is very well thought out.

The problem is that I can not make it work as an audio interface for Linux (despite the efforts of the Linux community computer music). It runs under Windows, but, hey, this is not what I wanted ... VST (Vandal) supplied with does not suit me, especially since it takes a host, because the version of Samplitude 11 is provided a trial version!

Most:
+ All-in-one for a reasonable weight
+ Strength aluminum housing
+ Pedal optical

Cons:
- Manual nonexistent
- Pilot: does not work on Linux, Windows driver capricious
- Bundle a little light for the price
- Supply need not delivered!

Price / quality ratio: correct. Note that it requires a 12vDC power supply 1 Amp (between 15 and 20 €) to make it work.

Repeat this choice: yes and no. Yes, because it is the only machine of its kind to my knowledge, and that it is a good product. No, because the type of device that you must learn to master patiently, and I realize that I do not have enough room in my schedule to geek it!
