Value For Money :
Excellent
Firstly, I rap and I wanted to record my album.
So I use to catch votes.
Above all, I really questioned the usefulness and effectiveness of this kind of <em>"cabinet on foot"</em> ...
<em>Here's my resume:</em>
Previously, I was recording in a studio that I built. <em>(The claclaclasse)</em>
He was very well insulated, a microphone and preamp, high quality <em>(Fearn and Neumann),</em> however, came to pick mopeds passing in the street. <em>(Funny but not very productive)</em>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"> Then I recorded at home in my apartment city of Poitiers with low ceilings. <em>(The double meaning of the term)</em>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"> I tested everything and tried:
_ The <span style="text-decoration: underline;">cardboard box</span> filled with boxes of eggs on the hook luster ...
Extremely painful but as <span style="text-decoration: underline;">ugly</span> as effective. After 10 minutes it was 200 ° c and I felt like I was the violent change in shell.
_ Then there was <span style="text-decoration: underline;">the wall corner</span> surrounded by shelves covered with a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">thick linen cloth.</span>
It works but <em>playing the boss</em> before asking <em>Demeco</em> still quite heavy.
In short I moved into a house (finally) next to La Rochelle <em>(more)</em> sloping ceiling covered with paneling. <em>(Awesome!)</em>
At the end of the room a small recess of the width of the window.
So technically it is a reflector of his imprisonment but the hand of this famous recess.
There was something to do.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"> I wanted to record my solo album without taking me with her head mounts to bite me dork.
But like any purchase you must know what is being sought as a result.
And tools available to get there.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"> I had an ideal room.
A <strong>micro Studio Project B1 MK2</strong> ...
... That coupled with a <strong>strip MindPrint TRIO</strong> KB <strong>rg</strong> and my <strong>D3200</strong> came a great voice for his rap.
The whole thing is to find a practical and cost effective.
I focused first on its big brother from SE Electronics <em>(Reflexion Filter).</em>
But <span style="text-decoration: underline;">250 euros</span> for isolating a microphone from just 100 ...
So I took the brand mark at Thomann <span style="text-decoration: underline;">99euros</span> anyway.
What I see is that it's <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">extremely simple to assemble.</span></strong>
The <strong>parts</strong> are very <strong>robust,</strong> adapting to every foot of microphones.
Mic Screen is heavy enough without brushing against obesity.
<strong>The acoustic foam does not break bricks</strong> but everything is <strong>well thought out.</strong>
The <strong>aluminum</strong> side <strong>reflects the sound</strong> and prevents it from coming back and having the natural reverb of the room.
The foam step closer with the two collapsible parts of the machine to capture the sound.
And then, if too close, to yield a stifled.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"> Everything rises and holds out. He stayed four months on the foot of micro unabated, sag, twist or unscrew the mic.
Moreover it is quite "beautiful" <em>(also relative and subjective concept)</em> and not oxidized despite the salty air of the proximity of the sea <em>(oh yeah I know my life is hard).</em>
From a technical standpoint it's solid and reliable.
OVERALL OPINION
The result I wanted was a very deep voice and dull, devoid of reverb <em>(even add more later).</em>
I'm just taking my voice and body to phanatoire JoeyStarr / Garou I needed something solid and castling.
Except that the entry-level stuff like my microphone preamp and my 'give a result very bright and sills.
<em>Typical characteristic of a low cost Album
</em>
Mic Screen has naturally found its place in front of the foam and the aluminum window to the rest of the room.
Foams fairly tight mitigated greatly valued the acute and severe heat.
My voice is powerful, the microphone-20db preamp-and ¼ were at the limit of saturation <em>(yeah I love my microphone yelling).</em>
So I would not need to use my donf bikes, back to the window in the presence of added more high mids to my voice and my guests.
The <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">result was surprisingly clean</span></strong> and good.
The <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">sound was warm,</span></strong> taking net without reverb.
My <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">voice is rich</span></strong> and the place minimal.
To then work with my compressor and my belongings were based nikel!
Only negative <em>(and not the least)</em> can not ask her to either text.
It forced me to learn it by heart and suddenly I was concentrating on the intentions and vocal intonations.
What use is particularly nutcracker but ultimately gives a more carefully.
However there is a material point very well: the <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">microphone is adjustable in height and reach</span></strong> through the small support on which it rests.
This is <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">handy</span></strong> because it prevents unscrewing the microphone stand.
In short, it's solid for me and it suits me completely.
It also helps to leave the device as it is spread and the recordings while keeping the same sound configuration.
Will enjoy the mix it is not to change the settings because there are several leads recorded so divided.
It is a <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">very good price / quality ratio.</span></strong>
But like any cheap stuff you have to know what you want to do and be familiar with his stuff and his room.
Despite my strong doubts <em>(unknown house, entry-level equipment and cabinets not advocated by the pro)</em> the placement and layout settings have played in my favor.
So I know <em>that Mr. Bricolage music</em> contradict me by saying that we can do better with boards or I do not know what ...
Good for them.
But I wanted my room is a room of my house not a slack Brico Depo.
This is <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">perfect for a home studio.</span></strong>
<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Correct results</span></strong> are obtained if we know what we want to do with and how to use it.
<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">
I recommend.</span></strong>
I shot some video recording of the album.
Here is a fairly long MicSreen shows placement and the final result.
<em>(Others are on my profile dalymotion).</em>
