Lava Cable releases a new solder-free right angle plug.
Along with G&H Industries, Lava Cable has designed a revolutionary DIY solder-free plug specifically designed with tight tolerances to match the Lava Mini ELC cable. According to the manufacturer, the Lava Plug is the first solder-free DIY plug on the market not to use a set screw to make the ground connection. Instead, a sleeve making 360 degree ground and outer jacket contact is used. The housing at .439" wide is also the smallest available, allowing for pedal spacing at or near 1".
The Lava Solder-Free right angle plug starts shipping now at an MSRP of $7.50. A set including 10 Right Angle Lava Plugs, 10 feet of Mini ELC cable and a stripping tool is also available for $89.95.
