Sandberg my EX5 is a series specially cre Sandberg collaboration between German and a store call Werner, based on a California JM5.
-Handmade in Germany.
-5 Strings.
-Maple neck, 22 frets, rosewood fingerboard.
Ash-body, color Dark Blueburst.
-2 Delano pickups, a humbucker in bridge musicman type, a type jazz bass but inclined to run.
Electronic 3-band Glockenklang, switch active / passive (the treble knob is a tone), switch to switch the microphone MM series or parallel.
-The bridge is stamped Sandberg, he seems solid and easily set trs.
UTILIZATION
The handle is trs Pleasant over the map of strings at the bridge is 19mm, as a 4-string, which provides playing comfort trs enjoyable.
However, Access in acute trs is using, which does not impede me beyond measure, not the soul of a soloist!
It PSE good weight, you can feel good on the leg when playing seated, but the balance can be improved trs correct.
By fiddling with the electronic well, you get a great sound easy.
SOUNDS
This bass fits perfectly what I expect from a bass. The sound is generally round trs, trs hot, with the "growl". If you are looking for a bass slamming her, go your way! I play mostly in active, high and low background, and send the large ca! In slap, you can easily get a well slamming (which ironically it is impossible to have this bass with a classic game with fingers), facilitated by pulling strings Mount mediums of origin.
I head the branch in a Markbass Little Mark 2 and a pregnant Warwick 2 * 10, and with some rglages on the head, I get the easy one I love.
This bass is versatile trs I think, perfect for both rock and metal for the pop or jazz ... The complete electronic trs allows you tons of settings!
OVERALL OPINION
I played for two months prs and I like it a lot. I love the sound that I can draw, and the playing comfort gnral, even if weight and balance level, it can be improved ...
Loved Sandberg ds the first test of a MODEL of the mark, and I'm really pleased with my purchase, the price quality ratio is really excellent, I have a 1200 for "Jazz Bass Plus ", a really excellent bass and a pleasure to play. The finish is excellent throughout (except for some details on the head, but those are just details), I'm really happy. I do it again this choice without hsiter!
