Excellent
It's an active bass. A 9v battery for 2 preamp
JB type handle 21 boxes
2 single coil pickups Yamaha
5 pots: master volume, balance microphones, bass, treble and switch 3 positions: 1 preamp, preamp 2 or preamp shunted
If you open the electronic plate case, we find still a few pots to adjust the preamp: a knob of output level, adjusting the focus of the first preamp, like the 2nd and a boost for the middle 2nd preamp
If one takes the trouble to tweak it a bit you realize that you can solve a variety of sacred sounds.
UTILIZATION
The handle is very comfortable to play, it's a round of what JB.
A flat for access to acute, 17/19 boxes around the body a little gene.
Besides this small detail is very enjoyable to play.
SOUNDS
The sound ... The sound ... this sound is huge.
I set the preamp so as to have one of the first blues well, well rounded. By playing on the neck pickup gives it a dark sound and sound very fat on the bridge pickup. For the blues for SLAP is nickel.
For the 2nd preamp I sound much clearer to play the nickel Maiden with the neck pickup and a much more metal with the bridge pickup.
And the power that comes out of this bass is terrible. I have lowered the volume almost to 0 on my 20W except the house tremble all over. And it's pushing the general volume of the lower half.
OVERALL OPINION
I play with for 1 month and I won.
This is especially the sound of this bass is awesome, powerful sound and settings galore that allow for a wide range. And in addition it is beautiful this low.
Before buying this one I tested a dozen other lower then PB, Stingray, Ibanez 2, two other Yams and other ... it has a sound of hell and is very versatile and compared to the price of a Stingray or Fender US is given. € 900 approx. A good value for money.
