I recently did a little fun with my new pedalboard with the following config: 6 + 1 wah pedal. The issue of wiring proved to be more difficult than expected to solve (cable length, orientation jacks, elbow / right, capacity ...). In the end I realized that very few brands allowed to do true custom.

My choice was a "Soldered Lava Cable Mini Plug Kit (ELC)" kit that is to say a kit with cable ELC (capacity 28Pf/ft) and mini jacks angle and straight solder. FYI, the Lava website offers a variety of assortments.

I had some trepidation about the welding ... I'm handy, but my only experience was limited to my work during college textbooks! Please note, all my cables worked perfectly the first time.

While the Lava cables are a bit expensive but the quality is at the rendezvous, I got quality cables and custom. Feel free to pass welding is actually very simple and apparently more reliable than the version "solder free" (seamless).
