Number one, incredible looks...ok so it's no NJ beast, but nothing is. The pickups on this thing are excellent, and you get a good sound from any amp channel. This axe is a tad on the heavy side, but that's a good thing cause it won't be slidin around when you're rockin out. Solid fretwork, and the bridge makes string changes a snap. The tuners are magnificent, i've never had this guitar come out of tune. Some might complain about the lack of features (only one tone and volume knob and a 3-way switch) but it's enough to get a great sound.
You do have to do a little work with the pickup placement to get a good tonal sound out of it, but once you find the sweet spot it's sonic heaven. Also, some extra fiddling is required to find a good adjustment zone for your strap, more than with other guitars, simply because of the weight.
A very solid guitar, doesn't nick easily at all (except when your idiot father puts it on a cement floor with no carpeting underneath). Frequent polishing is required cause of the finish, but you oughta take pride in your guitar anyway.
For the price, this is a great guitar. Sure you could do better in looks and features, but in terms of playability and sound, this is a great buy.
