My Mockingbird presents some differences from the picture: mine has a black body with mottled patterns and inlays on the fretboard is shaped diamonds and no clouds
For the rest, this is similar:
-24 Frets
Floyd Rose-licensed
BC Rich humbuckers -2 liabilities (1 stick and 1 bridge)
-3 Adjustment knobs: 1 volume bridge, 1 volume and 1 tone handle
-1 3-position selector (neck only, one easel, mix of both)
Ultimately, the key is there, it's simple to use, without the fuss!
UTILIZATION
The first thing we note is to use the weight of the beast. It is relatively heavy. There must be some adaptation time to beef up a little shoulders. Otherwise you can play sitting down.
Moreover, the weight is not very balanced, so that the head of the guitar looks down. By playing up, so it is necessary to compensate with the left arm, which can interfere during the game, including restricted access to acute (especially if the guitar is low). However, from my own experience, having a wide strap can largely offset this tendency to look for the strap adheres more to the shoulder (greater surface friction).
Aside from that, this guitar is nice to use:
Neck-not too thick, which slides well
-Simple settings (gf above) to easily get a good sound
-Form does not hesitate to play sitting
In summary, this guitar is comfortable to use, but its failure to balance bad for me because it's more of a guitar for a rhythm guitar shredders. However, as I wear it down, it can distort my judgment.
SOUNDS
To conform to the image BC Rich, this guitar is very easily adapted to exit sounds very manly! However we must not restrict it to only use this (play metal burn) because the sounds are very clear and I think she has some versatility in its use.
Playing now on a Vantage 10W amp via a POD, I already found the sound not bad. With a better amp, this guitar is really making trouble!
So, a guitar suited for metalheads of all kinds, but may be appropriate for other musical styles (and more the shape is not too aggressive)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 year and a half and I am very satisfied!
Not just the look I like, but to play metal, it is perfect!
The settings are simple (not 15 000 different buttons with preset EQ or what have you) and sounds are easily obtained.
The only drawback is its weight and poor balance. However I got done and I do not have problems.
For me it's a good rhythm guitar.
OCCAZ purchased from a price of 400 € with the cover BC Rich, I think the price / quality ratio is very good. I do it again this election!
