It has a mahogany body painted black (and silver around the edges) and a maple neck (not painted) which is screwed the button is decorated with beautiful ebony inlay forms of barbed wire (or the name of barbed virgo)
It has 24 Jumbo Frets and a pitch of 25.5 ", the mechanics are in very good bills bc.rich
the bridge is like tune-o-matic with strings through the body of the guitar
micro level it has a double bridge and a single in the neck position, while two brand bc.rich
a tone, volume and a micro switch (bridge - bridge / neck - neck)
look at the highly successful I find for me is frankly one of the finest guitars available (I said for me) but the shape is much less aggressive than a beast or a warlock, the silver piping on the edges makes it beautiful and the key with barbed wire inlay is sublime on this point a success for me is the balance between aggression and class then this is a matter of taste what we think we are cataloged on big bearded metalhead with a scratch like this
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice, rather thin and flat it is very easy to play, access to acute well as remaining very easy thickens slightly at the junction body / neck is not progressive it has to a blow to the 18 ° handle cargo 2 times thicker, however, not insurmountable for the form is cut and everything is very easy to play
it really is super light and not point the nose, sat the game is also very easy shape of this guitar despite its aggressive forms is a model of ergonomics for the person who plays a careful though not to impale some one with the head it's really sharp
level of the violin is very good, anything that moves, unscrew or anything else is really strong and yet she attacked shots in the mouth, nickel finishes are also good job
its level if it seeks c'qu'on can easily be found after all settings y'as not ten miles but we will see that a little below
I put 9 to the junction body / neck
SOUNDS
Yes it's clear it suits my style of music then j'l'aurait TFWP not purchased to play jazz that's clear is clearly a guitar designed for metal and it shows, however, it can a little more versatile that it looks
I played on a korg multi originally made for bass but the distos sound ten times better on guitar (and ten times better than the original marshall distortion for my taste), plugged into a marshall mg100dfx
then the saturated since it is mostly of interest:
The bridge position is probably best suited to play in keeping rhythm, the sound is aggressive but not so heavy, the harmonics come out really well, frankly it's very good even if it's a little runny ptetre
The neck position is itself completely adapted to solo, the sound is much more subdued, more serious charge is less acute than in the bridge position, the harmonics out very well yet and this position is also very well suited to play in rhythm palm mute single notes, and if we try a heavier sound, however, involved in keeping it in distortion of the spray too fat and slimy to do something (but the neck position is not really meant was that), in playing on the volume knob can be passed the big distortion has a little overdrive to see a crunch (this applies to all positions), which provides a sound in that position more than fine for a good rock 'n' or roll old school punk (even if it is not a gibson, anyway the guitar is a gibson in these records must be found)
the neutral position as it is a pathetic I find you end up with the shortcomings of both pickups together and it gives us a sound too mushy for rhythm and not really for the top solos, the harmonics have a terrible time out (when they leave) the short position is useless I find on this guitar if you play it is saturated in the neck or the bridge but not both at the same time
comes after clean sounds, I almost always j'agrémente clear sound with a light chorus and reverb but I speak especially of the natural
in the bridge position: it is cold, it's slamming and it saturates when you scratch too hard you forget on clean sounds with this position
in the neck position: then we are left with a clear sound downright good, not slamming or runny very clear that caresses the ear rather he attacks, it is frankly a very pleasant surprise to have a clear so well made on a guitar for the big sounds saturated
neutral position: it has a sound very similar to that obtained in the neck position, a little less sweet but has the ear that provides a bit more acute this may be desirable in some cases
In conclusion, the sound of that Bc. Rich is very well made but its weakness lies in the bridge pickup is not precise enough in saturated and too aggressive in a light other than that it's all good and it was even the pleasant surprise of having a clear much more than decent, the logical evolution of the skyscraper that s'rait therefore replace the bridge pickup with something like history emg 81 to offset its weaknesses (that's what I intend to do I think I was editing once it received)
EDIT 28/01/08:
with an easel in Dimebucker is downright excellent sound is super sharp in bridge and middle position as I did a weird wiring the sound is lower and totally devoid of serious and ultra slamming huge for intros to the American idio or Holiday Green Day c exactly what style of his need, in addition to the dimebucker it may well be a fucking crazy thing in saturated fat, lowering the gain makes it very well and is very beautiful even in clear (a condition to lower the gain) of a quick view of the scratching sound suits me perfectly now a sound point of view
OVERALL OPINION
I have this guitar for about 6 months now and six months I was thinking that I have come to know, c'que like most about it is mostly his solo in the neck pickup and look c'que definitely my least favorite bridge pickup is not better last c'qui c'fait not forget we are in a scratch register is € 600 and so it's logical to have top notch
I have not tested it myself but many models have served a period of eight months in a studio I've heard guitarists play with gibson, esp, fender so its level even when I heard a lot before have the scratch
value for money price and I got it (new € 300) is more than excellent at an average price or is found (€ 550/600) of it is very very good I think if you want to do metal well better than a lot of guitars in the same price range
with experience I know if I would do this choice in any case I regret not having bought
I put 9 because you can not put a 8.5 really very good guitar for its price y'as probably best but certainly a lot of y'en less, replacing the bridge pickup with an EMG not even a hundred euro by more cons I think it can be a real good guitar, the violin being very good
PS: Even if I fall throughout the game sound bridge pickup do not forget we're talking about a guitar is € 600 and that not everything can be perfect for the style and the price it's still very well
28/01/08 EDIT: after the change of the scraper bridge pickup goes good way to end a very good scratch. Beautiful, easy to play and sound crazy I change not mean my bill because it is the note of the original scratch counts
