Guitar factory in China ... same but not too bad. I doubt the order was ultimately holds up, especially for 215, we will not whine, either.
Channel 19 frets, with as usual at Danelectro lipstick pickups, which are the exact number of two, as you can see in the picture above.
The fixed bridge is Danelectresque, 3 holes, three screws, we set and you're done.
So you have a 3-way micro slecteur (neck / bridge / both in SERIES) + 1 volume + 1 Tone.
The handle is also Danelectresque is - say rather clumsy.
UTILIZATION
J'tais used to the sleeve of my Start, both say that when I came into the world of Danelectro had to do some finger-intensive training to Russia to slowly turn the handle ... but worth it. Now I find that even the handle of the Start is a bit thin.
Pass the 12 box, given the dcoupe the body, difficult to play ... but it is not a Danelectro bends to go to the box 19.
The weight is ultra-lightweight, due to the hollow body made of plywood spcial (masonite) ...
And sound, it is as we love with Dan, slamming, perant, unique!
SOUNDS
To influence the 50's / 60's, it's the ball.
I play on a Twin Reverb amplifier coupled to a low, gives a fine.
Rglages level, it is better to put the two pickups, volume and tone to stop, do not bother to do otherwise, a sound no better.
OVERALL OPINION
I use Danelectro past year, it just happened ... I find it almost more enjoyable than my Pro 56, the hardware looks to me more solid, and then look at ... frankly ... a killing!
It's almost too much even the pickguard is artificially aged ... you can almost make it really comes down style of the 60s ... You just hide the little "Made in China" derrire the head of the handle.
Order 215 euros unhappy in Germany, Misr sound and style of this guitar.
Only criticism that can be done, it lacks a little safe, but it has not, either we take the Danelectro.
