« Fender Cyclone »

I got this guitar as an early birthday present because I couldn't wait until July. I purchaced it off of Musicansfriend.com for 459 dollars. It had free shipping.

I love both the Atomic humbucker and the Tex-mex single coil. The problem I had with my other guitar is the clean channel sounded distorted. The cyclone sounds perfect. It also stays in tune very well, if I bend or crank on the wammy. Both pick ups pump out smooth tunes and the humbucker can really growl! And the off-set body looks cool, and feels great. Lastly, the pearloid pickguard looks a lot better than just a regular white.

The only thing I didn't like is that one of the tremolo springs came loose. That nothing a philips head screw driver can't fix.

It is made of solid poplar wood, so it it is heavy. The benifit of that is that it is a very durable guitar. The Cyclone is built like a tank. I've bumpped it against my computer desk about three times, and no dings or scratches on the head. The strap buttons are completly secure. The input jack is also very tight. No problems here.

I love this guitar. It is one of the "exotic" Fender's rather than a Strat or Tele. Good price for a great guitar. If someone stole it, I would hunt them down and kill them, then take my guitar back. (Just kidding)
