Simple but effective: the "small" Gibson is making US and is part of a small series called in the years 90. It includes the forms and the concept of młody maker of years 60.
The design is simple but very well finished: mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, an easel-type stratovolcano (thundering a Gibson), beautiful varnished and DGRAD "Dark Wine Burst", volume, a Tone slecteur a 3 position ... and two small single coil pickups unknown to the battalion, who do not pay for mine but ... we are at Gibson does not forget.
USE
The handle is quite pleasant: it is not a highway but it is less "Mastock" as the handle of a Les Paul for example. Only bmole: polish the handle has an unfortunate tendency to "stick" as a result of sweat which entrane some "braking" intenpestifs. Fortunately, a few good guitar polish regularly used to solve the problem.
The access to acute is facilitated by the double chancrure; I like its forms and the weight is raisonnalble (s still compar a Les Paul), but even when all inspire confidence.
The acastillage is simple but not surprising: the mcaniques are sufficient and the beast does dsaccorde that very few ... as long as you do not abuse too much (if at all) Vibrato: indeed, it remains the black point of this guitar and its use dsaccorde systematically rope If a basic Strat But she did better.?

SONORITS
... The two small microphones that do not pay mine dlivrent an output level for the least surprising to see dtonnant they are hot, relatively prcis and know how to be greasy (almost as fat that a good humbucker!).
Moreover, in intermediary position, both pickups are coupls position "hum canceling" and sounds almost "Led Zeppelin" as long as we find the right rglages.
In his clear, the sound is less crystalline and less slamming a strat but still warm and perfect for blues.
In crunch and a little dirty, it falls within its field of predilection: blues blues blues ... we find somewhere the personality of P90.
Pushing the knobs of my Marhall Valve State, has become terrible (in a good sense): one approaches Led Zep and undoubtedly find the Gibson brand. The sound is full and powerful, with a good presence in the low end.
Branch on my V-Amp, one can spit these small microphones as beasts of Punk and Rock (including a config like "+ Soldano 4x12"). In two words: adgage while remaining sufficiently audible and prcis. It certainly remains somewhat fits the Mtal (should not be too much to ask either) but comes out with flying colors in blues rock sound, big rock like Led Zep see Punk Rock (the Stooges are sometimes not loins). In all cases, the sound Gibson is well l.

When wife a guitar, we love forever. I bought new less than 4,000 francs (600) there is a little over 6 years.
It does not stop m'tonner by his character and the power of its two small microphones. It is a model that no longer exists and seems difficult to find secondhand. However, it must be affordable.
It's not a Les Paul but it remains a Gibson certainly small in prestige and great finish but by his character. I love him, I love him, I love him ...
