Made in Canadan (hand)
Godin strat bridge-type knife
Handle type modern stratocaster
22 frets (fingerboard)
Pickups Godin GS-1 and GH-1 HSS
One volume, one tone (split the humbucker)
5 positions selector strat guy

UTILIZATION

Channel Type strat recent very pleasant without being a kind of highway Ibanez or Jackson.
The guitar is heavier than the reference model but the wood used is maple center and poplar for the wings. The vacuum is already his singing.
The access to acute is the standard of what tupe guitar without worries. This is not a 24 cases either.
Are obtained through the strato typed sounds simple and the famous sound and central neck pickup in position 2 of the selector. This is less true for the 4-position with split humbucker and middle pickup.
For the Bridge position humbucker delivers a sound, say modern vintage capable of heavy riffs hard but not metal like a emg.D 'aillor balance between the simple and the double is consistent.

SOUNDS

I play in a cover band mainly pop rock revival to the present day through the 80s.
So my style will creedence to the Muse through the blues brothers, trust and say strait.
This guitar is highly versatile and allows for a wide range of sounds.
I plug in a Laney VC 30 (1HP HH) and through a HT Dual overdriven sounds (I only use the clean channel of the amp, I use the drive to boost).
My pedal board is analog MXR Carbon Copy and Dyna Comp, Chorus Palmer and Cry baby. I get most of the sounds I want to rock with this guitar.

Only the sound of the humbucker split does not suit me but I found the whole guitar I tested with this type of wiring.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two and half years without worry. I re set a few months ago and I admit that I take pleasure to play regularly.
I tried other brands like yamaha, ibanez, squier but nothing comparable for the same price that will be used in wood or fittings.

I do not like my guitar is the vibrato. At the same time not being at all expert I do not use it.

What I like is that for less than 500 euros you can joueravec realism on a pro guitar twice cheaper than American Strat in the same config and little more is made in America.
