Amp settings for ds-1x pedal.

Hi guys I'm just wondering what the recommended amp settings on my boss katana 50 along side my boss ds-1x distortion pedal. ATM I currently have it on clean channel with gain and volume set to high and the rest set to low.
I also have a 100 watt line 6, but thought the katana would sound better at lower sound cranked right up on the lower wattage.
Any feedback would be great, cheers.
