Caution: As with any line 6, we are dealing with the DIGITAL!
* Power 75 watts, which boosts good, perfect and even repeated small playable scene
* A single input jack and a headphone jack
* Basic settings (low, medium, high) but also has effects extravagant and rather good quality: Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremollo, Delay, Tape Echo, Sweep Echo, and Reverb course. It's a modeling amp, so 12 types of sounds, 2 clear, 2 twang, 2 blues, 2 crunch, 2 metal and 2 insane. In short: The paradise of the guitarist who wants to mumuse pleiiin with sound
UTILIZATION
* Configutations very simple and instinctive, more sounds are pre-programmed, so no hassle to adapt or get the 'correct', line 6 has already done for you. Well he must still admit that some factory settings are poor, you will need to retype some (especially if you buy later the FBV shortboard)
SOUNDS
* I played for two years on, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage against the machine's, the Nine Inch Nails ... Finally sounds and effects rather versatile, and although the sound was not exactly the same, it was a very good adaptation. So it is suitable for all types of music, but I believe it best to use metal or hard rock (even if the insane second effect is very ugly.) Proof of this is: Slipknot and Evanescence has helped create the factory sounds Spider II! And other sounds are available on the Shortboard.
* I play it with a Fender Stratocaster, it goes very well, but with two double coils as it passes very well.
* Very good sound in general, powerful and versatile. Well, you have to like digital sound and much work to find his own sound. The amps are sometimes poor and the digital sound a little dull. The sound when the amp is connected to sound really awful, hollow and very different setting than had been recorded on the amp.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this amp for about two years, and I really was impressed by its versatility and incredible number of features and sounds. I find the prices very affordable for what it is, knowing all the resources of this amp, I almost want to say that Line 6 is a scam by selling a low price. I never had to regret that choice, and I highly recommend this amp sounds fans and power at an affordable price.
