easy resources for learning basic music theory?

I've always been a self-taught musician but feel music theory would help build a stronger foundation. However, often it seems so complicated.

Does anyone have music theory basics explained in simple terms for my simple brain?

Well it depends. For example, this sort of "crash course" I've found to be extremely easy to understand, but it isn't by any means all-encompassing
