Following the rain, wind and motor sample libraries, Audiogaming AudioSteps (or AudioFoostep as mentioned on the editor’s website) is also aimed at sound design and post-production. It features footsteps samples recorded on 7 different surfaces with 6 distinct types of shoes, each step including more than 40 variations.
Once again, Audiogaming includes its real time audio manipulation technology, which allows the user to change the microphone position, the perceived distance, control the envelope for each type of walk, the tone o the random rate for increased realism.
The plug-in features MIDI input and output, supports MIDI note off system and includes a preset manager.
AudioSteps will be available in VST, RTAS and AU plug-in formats for Mac OS X and Windows, and Audiogaming adds that it will soon support control from iOS and Android. The library will be available in two versions: one free with no limitation but one sample bank, and a full license, which price is to be announced. More information are available at www.audiogaming.net.
