« pedal hard to settle »
Published on 04/08/12 at 03:15OC3 is the pedal (pedal size so), fully digital, with 2 inputs (guitar or bass) and two outputs ("dry" signal and processed), to descend from one to two octaves below the original.
UTILIZATION
the interface is very intuitive and well fucked.
SOUND QUALITY
this is where it gets hot. emulation is by no means stable, the generated octaves have no attacks, often pedal "seeks" the note, in short, the sound is not really satisfactory.
Following testing, here's what I've seen, and that could help you "sound" this pedal:
-Your guitar must have an output level therefore, otherwise the result will be totally scrap ...
You'll look better on the humbuckers on the microphones simple, even for a similar output level
You'll look better on a neck pickup as a bridge pickup.
Basically, the ideal for a correct result, is having an incoming signal with a very decent volume, and a signal rather fat, high in low (left to push the knob to tone bottom ...)
OVERALL OPINION
Shame to have to hack our own sound to be rendered properly with the unit ..
Boss .. we are used to better.
