OVERALL OPINION

I am very disappointed by this octaver quite expensive. By reading the data sheet on the website of MXR, I expected a better OC2, it is not. Growl sound supposed to reproduce the sound of the Boss is soft, but compared to my potato OC3. The girth does not interest me, too transparent, yet softer. What interested me in this pedal was the boost of the medium, because I use the OC3 without much direct sound to make a synth sound sub and I thought it lacked the precision compared to the clear sound of the bass. This boost of medium was therefore a boon to specify what sound synthebass, except that it acts only on its clear, I do not see the point, why change the sound of his bass when launching an octave?. .. In short, the OC3 Boss is cheaper and more effective, I have not noticed that the sustain was better on one or the other, when the precision, I do not play probably not fast enough hear a difference.
I will immediately send the pedal in germany, too bad for me I'll have to try before you buy.
