Installation always so simple, it dballe Mac board is lighter, it INSRE CD and then we oprationnel. No inconsistency with my peripherals, and even more stability on some.
No need for manual, everything is simple.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
IMac G4 800Mhz (flat panel 17 "), 80GB HDD, 256 MB Ram
Well what we can say is that it works as well as Mac OSX.2 (Jaguar). The OS is successful, then more fluid, more stable (even if silent Jaguar dj exceptional).
By ngatif point against the 256 MB of ram becomes insufficient. This is enough to grate on Systm and applications rather heavy, but this new version of OSX seems more greedy. Prvoir a minimum of 512 MB for a fairly intensive use.
OVERALL OPINION
Well basically nothing new compared OSX.2 amliorations if not that we do not see (noyau. ..) that make this version is better.
The graphics not change against evil, and well I think. Navigation in the OS is even more convenient, smoother, more ergonomic and logical.
Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) should provide an even greater advance. I am fully satisfied with OSX, it is like good wine, dlicieux to beginners and it gets better with age.
