Serato released version 1.1 of its Serato Remote control app for iPad, an update that adds a new Slicer feature.
You will find in Serato Remote v1.1 a new Slicer tab in which you will slice parts of a song and trigger those slices with added effects.
With Slicer, you can set the Domain size (the section of the song to be sliced), the Quantize size (the size of the slice to be triggered), and the slice triggering is made according to the beatgrid.
Serato Remote v1.1 is available exclusively for the iPad and requires the new version 1.6.1 of Serato DJ. The latter adds Windows 8 and Pioneer CDJ850 support, a new option that combines te FX8, SP6 and Video control panels on a same screen, and offers the ability to choose where you will save your audio and video mixes.
