« A big floppy replacing a SCSI hard drive. »
Published on 03/10/12 at 04:49I have over 10 years. I plugged in on my Akai S50000 and today on my Akai Z4 with a CD-rom SCSI also. Recognized by my PC.
No connection problem or recognition if it complies with the fact to a different SCSI ID for each material and finish with a plug. I had some prolèmes during backup but impossible to tell whether it came from the ZIP or S5000 at the time.
I would do this choice at the time because in SCSI hard drives were small capacity and very expensive. Today I do not buy it and replace it with the IDE hard drive I have in my Akai Z4 sampler.
