Public price: $259 incl. VAT

Dave Smith took five effects from his Prophet 12 and Pro 2 synthesizers and combined then into the new DSM-02 Character Eurorack module.

The DSI DSM-02 Character Module allows you to add the five following effects to your signal path:

  • Girth: a low-end harmonic enhancer
  • Air: a high-end harmonic enhancer
  • Decimate: a sample rate reductor for a lo-fi sound
  • Hack: a bit crusher
  • Drive: an overdrive and saturation effect

Each effect can be adjusted via a dedicated knob and has its own 0-10V CV input on 1/8“ mini-jack. The 14HP Eurorack module also includes two independent 1/8“ inputs and outputs but share a common mono/stereo operation control. Note that the signal patch in the DSM-02 is fully digital, with a 24-bit / 96 kHz resolution and it ships with a ribbon-type connector and a jumper so you can choose between local or system power.

The DSM-02 Character Module has a price of $259. More info at www.davesmithinstruments.com.
