I bought these boxes 10 days ago on a clearance sale.
Two things are particularly impressive in these boxes:
- HPH, the 21-inch Precision Device that are simply mind-blowing
- The building housing the horn, the sound a hell of a career path and is compressed before leaving the wood.
If there is one criticism emmettre on the finish that is not at funktion or Turbosound (or equivalent), on the other hand in terms of sound reproduction ... No complaints.
The value for money ... Excellent! This is the very pro gear available to individuals like me for whom the sound is more a hobby than a job.
As for the sound reproduction ... Pwaaaa ennorme below you takes off lids. I use a pair of TS 500 from the same brand, filtered through a BSS 336 and amplified and Amcron taiche. The sound is very clear that we either 1m or 30m of sound. If I have to find a catch that can be made of the very high frequencies, but my TS 500 can be used as the tweeters are they tired, I look at it more closely.
Another positive point vis a vis my old stuff (castle Turbosound martins + sub), the sound is directional, once out of faiseau acoustic pressure is almost zero, which is convenient to organize a bar ... camping ...
This choice I would do again in a heartbeat
