OVERALL OPINION
The inflator is not a limiter, and conversely, if you associate with this limiter Sonnox inflator, you'll sound better (to my taste) with the L3 WAVES or the possibilities of setting its limited. But I do not criticize the L3 is fine too.
The inflator was set only simulate the compression / saturation that were obtained by lying on the mix of analog tapes, which provides warmth to the sound.
