Tube distortion pedal.
Presence of a 3-band equalizer quite handy, as the noise gate built it suffices to know how to deal with the treshold. That said low volume it will not help.
The blue LED is éblouoissante when looking at the pedal but above is a detail.
UTILIZATION
The general pattern is super simple you plug you waiting for a dozen seconds the lamp heats up and you start to play (slowly, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute to enjoy the max gain of the pedal)
The manual does say the useless, it is not bad but he says nothing and is nothing to say once you play and you connected the equalizer rules as needed.
The gain and equalizer settings significantly affects the sound of which a wide range of sounds available.
SOUND QUALITY
With the original lamp is not evil, distortion is not too ill-defined and you feel a greater precision than in an analog pedal.
Cepednant I quickly proceeded to replace the tube to put a groove tubes ECC83.
So I lost a little gain, but I in the presence and accuracy. The distortion becomes a surgical precision and this, with any setting of the equalizer. With Bosst, I find myself with big, very big sound while maintaining those settings.
I use a Jackson Randy Rhoads and strat-Mex, with Randy Rhoads, we get the big sound easily, with the strat-Mex, it is more in sonrités hot blues.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it three weeks. My first impressions are very good on this pedal. The lamp is vraimment his work and is not just there for marketing. The value for money is just exellent. I am convinced that there are better but more expensive. A 7-band equalizer I think will be the final element of my pedalboard, but this will be part of Behring to blow!
Edit: The EQ has happened, which allows me to accentuate the grain of the pedal, it has a good grain to it (I care not the original lamp) and it is very very good.
I do not regret
