Two modes with two independent circuits: crunch and distortion.
The settings for each effect are obviously independent.
By pressing on the pedal, you can go from clean to crunch sound or distortion, or spend a crunch to distortion or even the 3 alternatively via a pedal switch (not supplied) that connects to entry "remote".
UTILIZATION
Pedal very easy to use whether it is access and readability of coaxial knob settings.
As always, get the "good sound" requires some experimentation depending on the guitar, amp and other effects used.
SOUND QUALITY
The resulting sounds are simply superb with a special mention for the distortion that is truly exceptional.
Mode with its rhythmic crunch, I have better results with the single coil pickups on my Telecaster with humbuckers. The furious riffs and expressive are fairly easy to obtain.
A special quality of this pedal is that it renders perfectly the dynamics and expressiveness of the game
OVERALL OPINION
Plugged into my twin reverb 1974, I used the last dozen years, and it's just my overdrive / distortion reference!
