So here's an overdrive pedal in the Ibanez Tube Screamer the last to be out I think.
The goal is to simulate a tube amp crunch (if I'm wrong, mea culpa, send me a message and I'll be happy to correct that).

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use: Tone, Drive, Level. A button to select more modes.
manual eh?
you really have to be a three-legged duck not to use this pedal.

SOUND QUALITY

I use this pedal with an Ibanez S-470 Sol.
Frankly, I was very surprised the sound is very correct, very friendly, and I do not understand negative reviews on this pedal, especially comparing it with the TS-9 and 808 ...

The 808 is € 200, it is not in the same category ...

The 9 is less than € 30 and exactly the same circuit as the DX position "TS"

We may as well change the TS9 ...

In terms of sound, in general, is a pedal that eats a lot treble (I admit still play at least 2 hours on the tone knob all the time) but really a single grain ...

It is true that other modes contribute very little on the other hand. (TS mode> all)

OVERALL OPINION

I use this pedal for several weeks now.
I love the look, sound ... everything!
I tried a pedal tube "homemade", which made pretty good!
Obtained in time for € 75 ... frankly, this is the first good thing I do in music / (505 Zoom II ... HAHA

The Tube Screamer, once we played, we understand why it's a foot "safe bet". Try, you will be delighted! (And cons if you want a modern metal sound. It is a product vintage eh: p)
