Value For Money :
Excellent
Everything has been said.
UTILIZATION
Yes, all this super simple, no problemo, no headaches.
Mind the gap volume between boost and drive the blues, it's confusing at first, within a single song.
SOUND QUALITY
Come to the point.
I have long hesitated on Catalinbread DLS, including samples made me drool. But clearly built to attack an amp without meds type Fender ("free" means in relation to a Marshall).
Playing on Blackstar HT-5, so I hesitated.
Then I saw samples of the small Bluesbreaker Marshall II, whom nobody thinks she's made to ring on any particular amplifier. Frankly, it was not a question of price that I wanted to "fall back" on this BB-II.
Well, what a surprise on my HT-5! It gives him a less modern type, and can spend the Jimi Hendrix to Slash (well, almost Slash, but uses little hairy gain contrary to legend), to Led Zep and AC / DC. I fear it sounds transo to death, and not at all.
Bluffing in value.
My Blackstar is equipped with a Celestion G10 Vintage, equivalent to the V30 in 10. "I play Epiphone LP MIJ pickups APH-2 SD and Bacchus LP 1956RI equipped with SD Antiquity P90.
Frankly, after the excellent compressor Marshall, I think Marshall makes excellent pedals value for your buck. On their sites, they announce squarely tackle shops pedals. It's a shame that Marshall is unfortunately known today for stews or tran muddy amp lights went out in recent years and are disgrace to the brand.
OVERALL OPINION
Used since ... today.
on the other hand, it's a boost / overdrive designed to ring Marshall. If it is to ring Bassman or Orange or Hiwatt or Soldano / Mesa & Cie, look elsewhere!
I put 9 for value for money. Certainly not the best Marshall in a box on the market, but at 40 € for OCCAZ 'must be nuanced. Not 10 because of the difference in volume between the boost and blues.
So, I would also try the Guv'nor 2.
