behringer eurorack 2642 no sound from cd player to speakers

everything is lit up , but no sound to speaker. speakon cable is plugged to jbl speaker, cd players is channel 15 and 16. cd is playing , only getting a hum on speaker. channel is unmuted and slider is up. no sound maybe missing something on the mixer itself? . any ideas?
