Chauvet announced the debut a new family of products: SlimPAR Pro, a new series that will be available in three styles: variable white (VW), red/green/blue/amber (RGBA) and tri-colored (Tri) LEDs.

All three are LED wash lights, fixtures with a footprint just over 279.4 millimeters high, under 254 millimeters wide and 88.89 millimeters deep-and have hanging brackets which double as a floor stands. The cast aluminum housing is designed to protect them from the rigors of the road and help dissipate heat. The line also features locking IEC connectors for power, LED control displays for addressing and access to functions, and multiple dimming curves for smoother dimming no matter what controller is used.

The new SlimPAR Pro family is designed to transform a setting into a performance space-nightclub stages, intimate theatres. The LED-fitted wash lights are designed to emit little heat and have a long performance life.

SlimPAR Pro VW is a variable white fixture featuring 36 warm and cool white LEDs. This is useful when matching the color temperature of existing lighting or achieving a specific temperature for video use.

SlimPAR Pro RGBA is a wash light featuring red, green, blue and amber LEDs. The addition of amber is designed to offer a more complete spectrum in some of the warm colours and also punches up the saturation and vividness of colours in general. This unit is designed for adding a lot of colour to small performance venues.

SlimPAR Pro Tri utilizes the latest in tri-color LEDs designed to deliver a uniform output. Eighteen tri-color (RGB) LEDs power the fixture and the colour is mixed before the lens which limits undesirable effects of multi-coloured shadows. Eliminating multi-coloured shadows is also designed to allow the unit to serve as front light.
