The setup is as complicated as that of a guitar amp with 3 channels (clean, crunch, distortion) and qq mods (boost, plexi mode).
To benefit it is essential to have a good simulation of speakers. There are a lot of plugins and libs simulation pulses combined with this plugin can make the happiness of the home studio or guitar at home.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Even in overdubbing mode (x8) the plugin is very comfortable with my old mac 2010.
Besides, I do utlise that fashion and I usually have 2 or 3 instances of the plugin on my sequencer without affecting the overall performance of the environment Logic.
OVERALL OPINION
Combined with a good simulation cab impulse is simply a delight.
For me it is the best freeware simulation available on the market!
I have rarely encountered such a dynamic presence on VST. In addition the sound has a delicious grain that really makes the difference.
I said that I do not use very saturated sounds and limit me to clean modes (aka yellow) and crunch (aka blue). I find the fashion plexi fairly interesting, probably because me and cleans channel yellow enough for me. Note that the bright switch is very useful for balancing guitars with humbuckers.
