IK Multimedia AmpliTube Fender

IK Multimedia has announced the availability of AmpliTube Fender 1.0.1 and AmpliTube X-GEAR 1.3.1 software updates.


The AmpliTube Fender 1.0.1 update offers the following changes and enhancements, according to IK:
  • Memory and CPU usage optimization
  • Full Pro Tools 8 / Multicore MAC support
  • '57 Deluxe: improved audio stability while quickly moving controls
  • Super-Sonic: reverb value is now correctly displayed
  • '64 Vibroverb: MOD switch setting is stored in presets
  • Pitch Shifter: predelay knob works correctly under all conditions

The AmpliTube Fender® SE 1.0.1 update offers the following changes and enhancements:
  • Memory and CPU usage optimization
  • Full Pro Tools 8 / Multicore MAC support
  • Super-Sonic: reverb value is now correctly displayed

AmpliTube X-GEAR 1.3.1 update offers the following changes and enhancements:
  • Memory and CPU usage optimization
  • Full Pro Tools 8 / Multicore MAC support
  • EchoMan stomp: fixed glitches while moving knobs
  • StompIO Patches: all Fender amp controls are now properly mapped to Fender StompIO Patches
  • AmpliTube Metal Wah and AmpliTube Fender Fuzz-Wah now properly work with MIDI control
  • Smoother Preset and Patch switching
  • All fixes included in AmpliTube Fender 1.0.1

The AmpliTube Fender® and AmpliTube X-GEAR software updates are free downloads for all registered users of AmpliTube Fender® and AmpliTube X-GEAR, and are already available in the IK User Area.

Pricing and Availability:

AmpliTube Fender is available through selected IK Multimedia dealers around the world and in the IK online store, in 2 versions:
  • AmpliTube Fender: the official Fender guitar and bass, amp and FX software with 45 gear selections consisting of 12 amps, 12 cabinets, 6 stompboxes, 9 mics and 6 rack FX. Also includes Riffworks T4 for guitar recording and AmpliTube X-GEAR for expandability with “Powered by AmpliTube” software and live control usage. MSRP €169.99 / $229.99 (excluding taxes).
  • AmpliTube Fender Studio. Includes StealthPlug USB audio cable interface and AmpliTube Fender SE (15 pieces of select gear with 4 amps, 5 cabinets, 2 stompboxes, 2 mics, 2 rack FX), plus Riffworks T4 for guitar recording and AmpliTube X-GEAR for expandability with “Powered by AmpliTube” software. MSRP €109.99 / $139.99 (excluding taxes).

AmpliTube X-GEAR, for a limited time, is free for all registered users of at least one “Powered by AmpliTube” product including: AmpliTube 2, AmpliTube Fender, Ampeg SVX, AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix, AmpliTube Metal and AmpliTube 2 Live. AmpliTube X-GEAR is available only from the IK Multimedia website, in the IK User Area.
