Peavey announces ReValver MK III: amplifier modelling software in stand-alone or plug-in formats, compatible with all VST/AU based systems.
Peavey tells us that the software works on a 64-bit amplifier modelling system that captures the characteristics of vacuum tubes whilst allowing users control over their tonality and gain structures.
It models 15 popular guitar amplifiers, including several Peavey amps. Users are given further control of the amplifiers at circuit level, based on the amps’ original circuit design. This is designed to allow users to change, add or subtract tubes on all amplifier models, and then calibrate even the voltage parameters of those tubes.
Peavey says that In all, users can program more than 15 features on each tube stage, with as many as 17 types to choose from.
