Topic Need help choosng a program
Hey guys, I was hoping you could help me pick out a program to record some band demos with.
I'm on windows and am using a Line6 KB37 as the audio/MIDI interface as well as a digitech rp350 for some stuff.
Now what would be a good program to record live instruments and a touch of VST instruments?

I've tried Live! but found that the lack of a decent audio cutting system and the fact that it will always snap audio to the grid is a pain to work with.
Audacity of course has the parts lacking from Live! but then its VST and midi support is crap.

I tried Sonar, but the interface is atrocious.

What recommendations would you make?
