Topic Recording problems with pro tools m-powered 7
I got xp on a gateway with pro tools 7 m-powered. I record all my tracks fine. then I go to play back the tracks and theres all this weird cracking and popping on the playback. I dont think its getting recorded like this because I cant hear it when Im playing but I could be wrong. please help

i had that problem with cubase and a tascam us428. it turned out that i was using usb 1.1 and should have been using 2.0, but other things to check out are the bus speeds, latency, and hard drive connections.
