Thread Adobe Audition 1.0 quit importing cda files

Yesterday morning Audition no longer would import files from a cd. When I click to LOAD APPEND or try to get audio from the cd the program just unloads and I have to start it up again. I did a repair installation that did no good. Since my C drive had only about 5 Gig left I next uninstalled the program on the C drive and moved it to my E drive. That did nothing to solve the problem.

Does anyone have a suggestion that might help me solve this problem? Files already on my hard drive are not a problem to load however. They work fine.

Any help will be much appreciated as I use Audition a lot.
