Hi guys,

For starters, the reason I joined is because I am in the process of building a home studio...2 actually. One will be in my house, and the other will be in my friend's house. He is a drummer and wants a live, but good sound; however, I am a keyboard/guitar/bass/drummer (thus the name Slash) who wants a polished studio sound. The style of music I play and listen to is as acoustic as it is electric, with tight vocal harmony. Like a Dave Matthews, Third Day, 5-part vocal harmony kind of sound. I have run live sound for 3 years, but in the studio...where should I start???
